Patricia Ann Virtue, of Hilltown Twp., PA, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, at her home. She was 63.
She was the loving wife of Bradley E. Virtue. The couple had celebrated their 35 th Wedding Anniversary on September 27, 2021.
Born in East Stroudsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jack Lee and Helen Louise (Long) Koenig. She was a 1977 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.
Patti and her husband operated the family business, Perkasie Container, Perkasie, since 1992, where she served as the office manager until retiring in 2016. She began her career in administrative work at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp., PA, working in the Maternity and Hospice Departments. Then, she was employed for a number of years by Waste Management, Telford, PA.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, as well as the Order of Owl's Nest, Perkasie, and the Arnot Sportsman's Club in Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
A member of the Girl Scouts of America during her youth, Patti volunteered as a Boy Scout Leader during the 1980's. She also was an active volunteer with the Pennridge Greenjackets football organization, having served as a Cheerleading Coach, Cheer Coordinator and Team Mom over the years.
She was a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Flyers Hockey and Philadelphia Eagles Football teams. Patti loved traveling to the Caribbean Islands, especially St. Lucia, and she also enjoyed trips to Germany, Italy, Ireland and Austria. Most of all, she loved vacationing in the mountain home the couple built in Tioga County.
Surviving with her husband are two children, David Boston, Jr. and his wife Jessica, of Sellersville, PA, and Courtney Dean and her husband James, of Perkasie; four grandchildren, Damien Boston, Jacquelyn Dean, Addison Dean and Evelyn Huffman; and a sister, Kathy L. Weaver and her husband Buck, of Souderton, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey L. Koenig, on December 10, 2021.
Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 19 South Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Perkasie.
