Natalie Nascimento Boorse, of Silverdale, PA, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022.  She was 86.

She was the loving wife of William W. Boorse.  The couple celebrated their 65 ^th wedding anniversary on December 15, 2021.

Born in Ponte, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Francesca (Pastore) Nascimento.

She was a member or Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hilltown, PA.

Mrs. Boorse was a life member of the Silverdale Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for 56 years, having coordinated the Easter Ham dinners for 30 years.  She also volunteered at Grand View Hospital having been recognized for over 10,000 hours.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading and traveling.  Her favorite places to visit were Nag's Head, NC and Colonial Williamsburg.   But most of all, she treasured the time spent with her great grandsons, Benjamin and Braden.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Caroline Fosbenner and her husband Steven, of Coopersburg, PA and Catherine Boorse, of Silverdale, PA; two grandchildren, Elissa Hart and Eric Fosbenner; two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Braden Hart; two brothers, Neal Nascimento, of Florida and Sergio Nascimento and his wife Donna, of Plymouth Meeting, PA.  She was preceded in death by a sister Gina Laspro.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.  Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Silverdale Vol. Fire Co. No. 1, 111 W. Main Street, P.O. Box 83, Silverdale, PA  18962.
