Miriam "Ellen" Johnson, of Sellersville, PA, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024, at her home.  She was 87.

She was the loving wife of Reese L. Johnson, III.  The couple had celebrated their 67th Wedding Anniversary on December 15, 2023.

Born in Quakertown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Belnetta (Roth) Kerber.  She was a 1954 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.

Mrs. Johnson was employed as a data processor for Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, for 38 years until retiring in 1998.

She was a member of RE:NEW Bible Church, Perkasie, where she was active with the Senior Saints.  In prior years, she taught Sunday School at Faith Baptist Church, Sellersville.

Mrs. Johnson enjoyed gardening, sewing and decorating her home.  She was fond of traveling, particularly to Alaska, Europe and Nova Scotia.  She will be remembered as a great cook but mostly for her love for her family especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving with her husband are four children, David R. Johnson and his wife Karen, of Dover, PA, Wendy S. McClay and her husband Philip, of Sellersville, PA, Robert T. Johnson and his wife Penny, of Claremont, NC, and Amy J. Clemens and her husband Allen, of Milford Square, PA; ten grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Jessica, Justine, Luke, Micah, Zach, Alyssa, Derek and Danielle; 21 great-grandchildren with two more on the way and a brother, William Kerber and his wife Carol, of Safety Harbor, FL.

In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Yoder and Nancy Johnson, and a brother, Edward Kerber.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 10, 2024, at RE:NEW Bible Church, 1600 N. Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville, PA.
