December 2, 1960 – March 18, 2025
Michael A. Moffatt of Souderton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Abington Lansdale Jefferson Health Hospital in Lansdale, PA.
He was the loving husband of Mary-Lynne (Bernardo) Moffatt. They just celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in February.
Born in Germantown, PA he was a son of the late Joseph Moffatt and Eleanor (Meade) Moffatt. He was the 10th of 12 children.
Michael is described by his loved ones as a giving person with an outgoing personality. He would do anything for the people in his life. He was very introspective and was young in spirit. Michael enjoyed playing and singing music.
In his spare time, Michael enjoyed prepping meals for the Celebrate Recovery Program at Franconia Mennonite Church. He also was involved with the worship team at the former Peace Valley Church.
Mr. Moffatt was employed most recently by Former Advent Security Company in Oreland, PA for 42 years and worked in Customer Service.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his three children: Jake Moffatt of Schwenksville, PA; Eleanora Moffatt of Vermont; and Miranda Moffatt of Souderton, PA. Michael is also survived by one granddaughter Carmilla.
Michael is survived by his siblings Christina Feeny (Richard) of Greenville, SC; Regina Herron of FL; Thomas Moffatt (Barbara) of Upper Dublin, PA; Karen Mullen (Bruce) of Plymouth Meeting, PA; Stefanie Urzua (Gus) of Savannah, GA; Peter Moffatt (Kim) of Chalfont, PA; and Amy McEntee (Richard) of Charlotte, NC.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Joseph Moffatt, Patricia McGuinn, James Moffatt and David Moffatt.
Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday April,10, 2025, in the Fellowship Hall of Franconia Mennonite Church 613 Harleysville Pike, Telford PA. 18969. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service in the Fellowship Hall. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
