Obituary

Michael Preston Kane, 78, of Doylestown, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on February 14, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Preston and Magdaline (Stecher) Kane.

Michael was the loving husband to Diane (Moss) Kane.

He was a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School and served his country in the U.S. Army.

An experienced handyman and "Jack of all trades" Michael worked as maintenance manager for the Heritage Building group.

Michael enjoyed cruises to various ports of call with his wife.  He also enjoyed trips to the casino and was equally fond of scratch-off lottery tickets. Michael was a Philadelphia sports fan, enjoying all the teams. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing. He also adored his pet cats.

In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his daughters, Michelle Marks and her husband Peter of Sellersville, Cheryl Magee and her husband Craig of Harleysville, and Christine Ogilvie and her husband Ryan of Perkasie. Michael is also survived by stepdaughter, Kris Willard of Dresher, and Stepsons; Jay Willard of Westfield, Steven Willard and his wife Theresa of Doylestown and Michael Stafford and his wife Justine of Doylestown; grandchildren Taylor, Sabrina, Julia, Evan, Connor, Leah, James, Alexis, Nick, Ryan, Jarred and McKenzie. Michael is also survived by his sister Kathy Price and her husband Gary of West Virginia. He is also survived by his first wife Carolyn (Serroni) Kane. Michael was preceded in death by a brother Rudy Kane.

A celebration of Michael's Life will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to a local Animal rescue of one's choice.
