Mary Lou Ott, 83, of Harleysville, PA, passed away on June 11, 2024 at Peter Becker Community.

Wife of the late Richard T. Ott, the two were blessed to have cherished 55 years of marriage when Richard passed away in September of 2016.

Born in Lansdale, PA, Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Edwin Keller and Elsa Anna (Hartman) Hendricks.

Mary Lou graduated from North Penn High School in 1958 and after raising a family, she went on to become a Bookkeeper at a Law Firm and then at Bucks County Furniture where she retired in the early 2000's.

As a dedicated mother and grandmother, Mary Lou treasured every minute with her family.  She also enjoyed spending time with friends.  Mary Lou was known for decorating for the holidays and turning the simple things in life into memorable events for her friends and family.  She was a very faithful and positive person.  When she wasn't caring for others, Mary Lou loved to garden, crochet, and taking road trips to see plays, to the shore and to visit little towns.

Mary Lou is survived by two sons, Terry Ott and his wife Carrie of Horseheads, NY and Jeffrey "Jeff" Ott and his wife Jennifer "Jenn" of Lansdale, PA.  She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Lou is preceded in death by a son, Gary Ott.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 10:30AM in Hilltown Union Cemetery,  Hilltown Pike and Church Road, Hilltown, PA 18927.

Memorial contributions can be made in Mary Lou's name to Freedom Valley Medical Training Institute, 309 Main St. Harleysville, PA 19438.
