Mary R. Hunsberger, of Perkasie, PA, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.  She was 94.

She was the loving wife of John Melvin "Mel" Hunsberger, who passed away on April 16, 2000.

Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Julia (Enright) Flecksteiner.  She was a 1947 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School.

Mrs. Hunsberger worked at Seylar Elementary School, Hilltown until her retirement in 1993.

She was long time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA, where she was active with the Silver and Gold Club and the Mother's Guild.  In addition to her church life, she loved taking care of her family.

She is survived by three children, Rosemary L. Monaghan and her husband Charles, of Perkasie, PA, Julia A. Mroz and her husband Terrence, of Susquehanna, PA and John M. Hunsberger, II and his wife Janice, of Sellersville, PA; six grandchildren, Corey Hunsberger and his wife Kelly, Jeffrey Scholl and his wife Krista, Daniel Scholl and his wife Natasha, Amy Evanetz and her husband Nathaniel, Katie Herman and her husband Michael and Elizabeth Weinlein and her husband Andrew and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Ziven Bilski in 1994, five brothers and one sister.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 22, 2024 in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.  Interment will follow in the Parish cemetery.
