Obituary

Marvel L. Rosenberger 97, of Green Lane, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 01, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald I. Rosenberger who preceded her in death in 2015.

Born in Sellersville, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Anna (Groff) Godshall.

Marvel was a meticulous homemaker and created a home that was always filled with the warmth and laughter of family and friends. Family was the center of her world. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren – listening to their stories, celebrating their milestones, and offering the steady encouragement that only she could give. Her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and quiet strength were gifts she shared freely with all who knew her.

Marvel was a Member of Zion Mennonite Church in Souderton.  In her spare time, she enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing cards, especially pinochle, playing in two card clubs, reading, and doing word search puzzles. She loved to clean, cook, and spend time with family. Marvel always took pleasure in a shopping trip to Boscov's. She enjoyed her many travels including Branson, Hawaii, Thousand Lakes, Florida, and cruises to the Caribbean.

She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Sefing and her husband LaMar of Green Lane; three grandchildren:  Kimberly Gerhart and her husband Dr. Clark, Christopher Sefing and his wife Patricia (Slabaugh), Benjamin Sefing and his wife Kristie (Hackman), eight great grandchildren:  Lindsay and her husband Kyle Landis, Brendan Gerhart, Brooke Gerhart and his wife Corinne (Makely), Chelsea and her husband Adam Good, Vaughn Sefing and his wife Malarie (Armetta), Olivia Sefing, Sydney Sefing, and Alexa Sefing; eleven great great grandchildren:  Hailey, Averie, Liam, Kearyn, Jade, Luca, Maverick, Ayah, Maleina, Vance, and Micah. In addition to her husband, Marvel was predeceased by two infant sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11 AM in the Zion Mennonite Church, 149 Cherry Lane, Souderton.  Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Hillside Cemetery in Souderton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Luke's Hospice, 2455 Black River Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015 or Zion Mennonite Church, 149 Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964.

Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford.  www.sadlersuessfuneralhome.net
