Mark J. Isganitis, of Richland Twp. and formerly of Telford, PA, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem, PA. He was 70.
He was the loving husband of 36 years of the late Margaret J. “Peggy” (Furrer) Isganitis until her passing on November 15, 2014.
Born in Lansdale, PA, he was the son of the late John and Ruth (Hillibush) Isganitis. A 1973 graduate of North Penn High School, Lansdale, PA, he attained his Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming from Montgomery County Community College, Blue Bell, PA.
Mr. Isganitis was employed as a computer programmer by Digital Systems Group, Horsham, PA, for 30 years until retiring in 2023. Earlier, he worked in the same capacity for U. S. Healthcare (now Aetna).
He was a member of St. Andrew’s United Church of Christ, Perkasie, PA.
Mr. Isganitis was a member and Past Master of the Shiloh-MacCalla Masonic Lodge No. 558 F & AM, Souderton, PA.
During his high school and college years, he served with the Civil Air Patrol. He also volunteered over the years as a firefighter with the North Wales Fire Company, North Wales, PA, and as an emergency medical technician with VMSC Emergency Medical Services, Lansdale, PA.
Mr. Isganitis was a member of the Sports Car Club of America, volunteering with the flagging committee. In addition to tinkering with cars and other mechanics, he was an astronomy and video game enthusiast.
He is survived by two children, Matthew J. Isganitis and his wife Amanda, of Sunbury, OH, and Melanie J. Isganitis, of Quakertown, PA, three grandchildren, Dylan Lowe, Brianna Hardwick and her husband Sheldon, and Jacob Isganitis; two great-grandchildren, Lainey and Evelyn with another great-grandchild due to be born any day; and a brother, David K. Isganitis and his wife Margaret Jones, of New Orleans, LA.
His Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the Funeral Service in St. Andrew’s Union Cemetery, Perkasie.
