Marjorie Stover 88, Telford, passed away on Sunday June 23, 2024, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was the loving wife of Jay R. Stover and would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in August.

Born in Souderton, Marjorie was a daughter of the late Thomas and Kathryn (Ratzell) Grant.

A graduate of Souderton Area High School, Class of 1953, where she excelled in many sports, basketball, softball, and field hockey. Marjorie graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in art education. Marjorie was employed as an art teacher for the Pennridge School District, and later worked as a substitute teacher for local school districts, before retiring in 1998. Marjorie loved spending her spare time traveling the world, be it a cruise or bus trip she and Jay loved to travel. Marjorie also loved to garden and loved bright, colorful flowers.

A lifelong Member of Christ Reformed at Indian Creek Church, where she sang in the church choir and served as a youth fellowship advisor.

In addition to her husband, Marjorie  is survived by her daughter: Jennifer Paul and her husband Dino of Phoenix AZ. Sons; J. Douglas Stover and his wife Mary, of Harleysville and Mark Stover of Telford. Grandchildren; Natalie, Alyssa and Erica and great grandson Weston. Marjorie is also survived by a sister Shirley Spoerl, of Telford.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 29, 2024, at 11:00AM at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, 171 Church Road, Telford, PA. 18969. Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00AM, prior to the service at the Church. Interment will follow in the adjacent Church Cemetery.
