Marian E. Engelmann, of the Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown, and formerly of Perkasie, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem, PA.  She was 98.

She was the wife of 70 years of the late Louis G. Engelmann until his passing on March 8, 2012.

Born in Perkasie, PA, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Jeannette (Agar) Funk.

A homemaker, she worked for the Pennridge School District at the Robert B. Deibler Elementary School Cafeteria, Perkasie, during the 1960's and 1970's.

Mrs. Engelmann was a member of Peace-Tohickon Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where she was active with the WELCA Group.

An avid gardener, she enjoyed canning and freezing vegetables during their harvest.  Most of all, she will be remembered for her love for her family.

She is survived by two sons, Garry C. Engelmann and his wife Julia, of Perkasie, and Louis A. Engelmann and his wife Louise, of Bethlehem; and five grandchildren, Shelbi, Jennifer, Matthew "Flint", Tara and Shane.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis G. Engelmann, in 2010; and five brothers and sisters, Eleanor Clymer, Arlene Fenoff, Vera Slotter, Claude Funk and Robert Funk.

Her Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Peace Tohickon Lutheran Church, 100 Old Bethlehem Road, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
