Beer
February 22, 1927 – March 17, 2026
Marian E. Beer, formerly of Bedminster Twp. and Perkasie, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Community at Rockhill, West Rockhill Twp., PA. She was 99.
Born in Bedminster, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Elizabeth (Sine) Beer.
A seamstress, Miss Beer was employed by the former A. G. Pants Factory, Perkasie, PA, for many years until retiring in 1991. Previously, she worked for the former Dublin Pants Factory, Dublin, PA, and the former Fretz Pants Factory, Bedminster, PA.
A former member of Solomon's United Church of Christ, Perkasie, she was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie (Kellers Church), where she taught Sunday School and volunteered on the Kitchen Committee.
Miss Beer loved dancing at the former Sleepy Hollow Ranch in Quakertown, PA, as well as polka dancing. She especially enjoyed traveling to New Mexico to visit friends over the years.
She is survived by a sister, Violet Bryan, of Bedminster Twp.; eight nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Beer and his wife Arlene; a brother-in-law, Earl Bryan; a nephew, Ricky Beer; and a great-nephew, Aaron Freed.
Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3668 Ridge Road, Perkasie (Kellers Church), PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Kellers Church Cemetery, Kellers Church, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3668 Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA 18944.
Marian's family would like to thank the staff of the Community at Rockhill, Personal Care Unit, for their care, kindness and friendship shown to Marian during her time there.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
