Maria (Nawracaj) Gorowska, a loving wife of Stanislaw Gorowski, mama to Alexa and Norb, and a marvelous babci to Demi, Ashton and Quentin, left our side on April 22, 2023.

The strongest Leo, Born in Tarnow, Poland, on August 14, 1946.  She was one of 13 children of late Kazimiera (Opszadek) and Stanislaw Nawracaj.  A gifted student graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Pedagogik University in Czestochowa, Poland.

Maria was very fond of the arts, the opera, the theater.  She loved traveling, an active walker seeking adventures and sightseeing natural and manmade wonders throughout the world.  She also had a penchant for architecture, having designed her own home in Martinsville, NJ, as well as, developing other properties over the years.  She was very proud to have immigrated to the United States, helping many members of her family and friend to resettle for a better life.  Through sheer will, determination and hard work she achieved success from a modest start.

She loved, she cried and she will be forever in the hearts of her loving family - her greatest achievement.  A carrying and tolerant wife, Maria is survived by her husband Stanislaw of 57 years.  Progressive spiritual progress is generated for her by her loving son Norb.   Her strong character is cherished by her daughter Alexa Agnieszka Gorowska and her husband Mark Muhlig, who always tried to make her laugh.  She will forever rest in the hearts of her dearest grandchildren Demi, Ashton and Quentin Muhlig, her pride and joy.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa CHAPEL, 654 Ferry  Road, Doylestown, PA.  Interment will follow in the Shrine Cemetery.  Subsequently, all friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial toasting her amazing life at her home: 2255 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, NJ 08836, staring at 3:30 pm.
