"Maggie" Argue
March 29, 1957 – September 9, 2024
Margaret L. "Maggie" Argue, of Milford Twp., PA, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at her home. She was 67.
She was the loving wife of Glenn D. Argue. The couple had celebrated their 37th Wedding Anniversary on October 10, 2023.
Born in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gerald P. and Barbara (Jefferson) Kelsh. A 1975 graduate of Upper Dublin High School, Fort Washington, PA, she attained her Nursing Degree from the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing, Allentown, PA, in 1978.
Maggie was employed as a Registered Nurse for Queens Health Center, Souderton, PA, for 19 years until retiring in 2024 due to illness. Previously, she worked for Doylestown Hospital, Grand View Hospital and private physicians' offices.
She was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church, Quakertown, PA.
Maggie shared her deep faith with her husband Glenn, serving on mission trips with Discovery Service Projects, and was known for her kindness, generosity and warmth. She was an avid reader and lover of books, an artisan of the cross stitch and a master scrapbooker, a passion she shared with her daughter Sarah. Maggie enjoyed traveling with Glenn, whether it was to see friends and family or volunteer in service of others. The beach was her favorite place to be, surrounded by family and grandchildren, joy and laughter. Most of all, Maggie will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to both family and friends. Her kind heart, her profound faith and warm smile will never be forgotten.
Surviving with her husband are three children, Keith M. Argue, of Philadelphia, PA, Sarah E. Dandridge and her husband Corey, of Pennsburg, PA. and John P. Argue and his wife Lauren, of Denver, CO; six grandchildren, Tyler, Silas, Easton, Emmy, Izzy and Miles; a brother Daniel J. Kelsh and his wife Louise, of Huntingtown, MD; as well as a multitude of friends who she considered to be family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Kelsh Tews.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Services to be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Providence Presbyterian Church, 2200 Krammes Road, Quakertown, PA.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
