December 28, 1929 – April 3, 2026
Margaret Helm, 96, formerly of Hilltown Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Morningside House of Towamencin.
She was the loving wife of the late Harrison “Harry” Helm who passed away in 2012.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Kathryn (Lamping) Schad. Margaret was employed as seamstress and later worked for a builder as an administrative assistant before attaining her real estate license.
Margaret was not one to rest, once she was blessed with a family. She became a sales representative for the Avon Company and was later promoted to manager. Margaret then went on to attain her Real Estate license. Her love of crafting and creating was evident in the beautiful blankets she knitted and the intricate Christmas decorations she made for family and friends and she even conducted pottery classes out of her home.
Margaret is survived by two sons: H. Peter Helm and his wife Susan of Hatfield, PA, Glenn Helm and his wife Veronica of Davie, FL, three grandchildren: Brooke Helm, Mark Helm, Brieanne Ansaroff and her husband Derek, two great grandchildren: Gunner and Barron Ansaroff.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home & Crematory, 33 N. Main St. Telford, PA. 18969. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to LENAPE HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
