Margaret Elaine "Peggy" Farley, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA.  She was 80.

Born in the Germantown Section of Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles John and Evelyn Mary (Fisher) Sperlbaum.  She was a 1961 graduate of Villa Joseph Marie High School as well as the Peirce School of Business, both in Philadelphia.

A homemaker, Peggy had also worked as a seamstress for a number of years.  During the 1950's and 1960's, she was employed by the Bell Telephone Company.

She served as a waitress for the Keelersville Club, Keelersville, PA, and the North Penn Gun Club, Quakertown, PA, over the years.

Peggy loved dancing as well as playing shuffleboard and bingo.  An avid gardener, she enjoyed crocheting and making ceramics in her free time.

She is survived by two children, Denise Schaffer, of Quakertown, PA, and Albert Arnold Farley, of Bethlehem, PA; four grandchildren, Matthew Thomas, Heather Renee and her husband Frank, Karen Marie and Jacob Charles; three great-grandchildren, Haily, Emma, and Lilly; and a sister, Patricia Deustachio, of Voorhees, NJ.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles John Farley, in infancy, and a sister, Evelyn M. Pisel.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Services to be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
