Marcia C. Mills, of Lansdale and formerly of Sellersville, PA, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at her home.  She was 78.

Born on January 26, 1946, in Lenoir City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Ralph and Lora (Perkey) Mills.

Marcia earned a Liberal Studies Degree from Gwynedd Mercy College, Gwynedd Valley, PA.  As a fiction writer, she published short stories in various literary journals and was awarded prizes in several fiction writing contests.

She was employed by Bell of Pennsylvania and Bell Atlantic for 27 years until retiring.  She also was employed by Montgomery County Community College, Blue Bell, PA.

An avid reader, Marcia belonged to a number of poetry clubs and book clubs over the years.  And, she loved attending outdoor music concerts.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Clifford R. Pierce, of Quakertown, PA; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Kenneth Mills, and a sister, Aileen Wampler.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville, PA.
