"Bill" Pfanstiel
April 3, 1953 – February 28, 2022
Lynn William "Bill" Pfanstiel, of Perkasie and formerly of Doylestown, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, February 28, 2022, at his home. He was 68.
He was the loving husband of Marjorie A. (Hoover) Pfanstiel. The couple had celebrated their 44 th Wedding Anniversary on May 14, 2021.
Born in Framingham, MA, he was the son of the late Charles William and Helen (Sharp) Pfanstiel. A 1971 graduate of Central Bucks West High School, Doylestown, he earned an Associate's Degree in Landscape Design from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. Later, he attained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Gwynedd Mercy College, Gwynedd Valley, PA, and a Certificate in Historic Preservation from Bucks County Community College, Newtown, PA.
Bill was employed as a preventative maintenance mechanic for the Central Bucks School District, Doylestown, for over 36 years until retiring in 2016.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Perkasie.
A sail boating enthusiast, Bill was a member of the Nockamixon Sail Club and served as an instructor for the Nockamixon Sailing School at Lake Nockamixon, Quakertown, PA. He also enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and target shooting.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Robert Charles Pfanstiel and his wife Kimberly C., of Gilbertsville, PA; a granddaughter, Charlotte Aurora Pfanstiel; and a sister, Diane Chesna, of Perkasie.
His Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Perkasie, 1600 North Fifth Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to RE:VIVALS Outreach Center, 4 South Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA 18944.
Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
