Sensinger
February 24, 1945 – June 9, 2025
Lorraine Sensinger, of Hilltown Twp., PA, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at Brookdale, Dublin, PA. She was 80.
She was the loving wife of Ralph LeRoy Sensinger. The couple had celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary on May 6, 2025.
Born in Line Lexington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Sampey) Leatherman. She was a 1963 graduate of North Penn High School, Lansdale, PA.
Mrs. Sensinger worked in the Deli Department at the former Clemens Markets, Perkasie, PA, for 20 years until retiring in 2000.
She was a member of St. Peter's Covenant Church, Hilltown, PA, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the Church Choir and belonged to the "Knitwits & Peacemakers" group.
An avid cook, Mrs. Sensinger was talented in cross stitching. She enjoyed traveling and especially loved spending time at the family cabin in Franklin Township, Bradford County, PA.
Surviving with her husband are three children, Allison Lorraine Derstine and her husband Duane, of Hilltown Twp., Jeffrey Lee Sensinger and his wife Nancy, of Bedminster Twp., PA, and R. Jonathan Sensinger and his wife Alayna, of East Greenville, PA; five grandchildren, Katelyn Lorraine Wehr and her husband Nathaniel, Elise Stoudt and her husband Adam, John Derstine, Emilia Sensinger and Benjamin Sensinger; a great-grandchild, Eve Lorraine; and a sister, Doris Boyer, of Perkasie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Barnett
Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 16, 2025, at St. Peter's Covenant Church, 1006 Hilltown Pike, Line Lexington, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Union Cemetery, Hilltown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Covenant Church Steeple Fund, 1006 Hilltown Pike, Line Lexington, PA 18932.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
