Loretta J. Crouthamel, 94, of Telford, PA passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Phoebe Richland, in Richlandtown, PA.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd O. Crouthamel who preceded her death on August 21, 2021.

Born in Telford, PA she  was a daughter of the late Abraham Swartley and Cora S. (Freese) Swartley.

Loretta was employed as an administrative assistant fort Univest, Merck and the Bedco Corporation before retiring in 1995.  She was a graduate of Souderton Area High school.

Mrs. Crouthamel spent 25 years line dancing at Generations and 18 years with the Telford Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary.  In her free time, she loved going to the mountains, baking and gardening.

Loretta is survived by three daughters:  Sheila Fosbenner and her husband James of Stillwater, PA; Holly Jones of Souderton, PA; Michelle Slemmer and her husband Randal of NJ; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings:  Viola Weidenmoyer, Pearl Kooker, Lloyd Swartley and Lewellyn Swartley. Loretta was also preceded in death by a grandson James B. Fosbenner.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 107 W. Lincoln Ave., Telford, PA 18969.  Interment will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Telford.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Telford Volunteer Fire Company #1, 400 W. Broad Street, Telford, PA 18969 or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church at the above address.
