Linford Ronald "Ron" White, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at his home.  He was 80.

He was the loving husband of Grace E. (Peart) White.  The couple had celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary on June 10, 2023.

Born in Sellersville, PA, and raised in Perkasie, he was the son of the late Linford and Marion A. (Watkins) White.  He was a 1961 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.

He was a proud U. S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1962 to 1966 and having been stationed Stateside as a court martial reporter.

Ron was employed as a driver with the United Parcel Service (UPS), Willow Grove, PA, having driven double tractor trailers to Ohio and serving as a trainer for the company for 37 years until retiring in December 2005. He was awarded the UPS Circle of Honor Award for safe driving throughout his entire career. Ron also assisted his wife at her restaurant, the former Gracie's Country Kitchen, Sellersville, for 17 years.

A member of the Nase-Kraft American Legion Post No. 255, Sellersville, he was a former member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, Perkasie.

A sports enthusiast, Ron loved NASCAR racing, fishing, golf and football and he was a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies.  He especially enjoyed watching cowboy-themed television shows and movies.  Most of all, he will be remembered for his love for his family as well as his late dog, Sparky.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Barbara Ann Glass, of Quakertown, PA, and Jennifer Elizabeth Cressman and her husband Mark, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; five grandchildren, Rachel Marie Shisler and her husband Evan, Felicia Nichol Gangi and her husband Philip, Chanell Renee Glass, Andrew Charles Glass, and Nicole Elizabeth Cressman; four great-grandchildren, Leah Glass, Cashe Shisler, Gunnar Shisler and Gregory Gangi; a brother, Barry White and his wife Marianne, of Hatfield, PA; and two sisters, Marian Hamburger, of Perkasie, PA, and Susan Hunter and her husband Kenneth, of Harleysville, PA.

His Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 Am on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.  Interment with military honors will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
