Linda Irene Rieksts, of Quakertown. PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.  She was 72.

She was the wife of John Roberts Rieksts.  The couple celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on October 7, 2024.

Born in Quakertown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Margaret (Ankele) Knecht.  She graduated from Empire Beauty School, in Allentown, PA.

Linda worked as a hairstylist for Holiday Hair for many years working in the Quakertown, Bethlehem and Perkasie salons.  She later did home health care for the Indian Creek Foundation, Telford, PA as well as private home care in the Doylestown area.

She was a member of the Springfield Church of the Brethren, Coopersburg, PA.

Linda enjoyed oil painting, flower gardening, going to the beach, camping, deep sea fishing, bird watching, as well as cooking, and baking.

Surviving with her husband are three sons, Brian Milton Sacks and his wife Sherry, of Richmond, PA, Craig William Sacks, of Quakertown, PA and Jonathan Michael Rieksts and his wife Mary Beth, of Coopersburg, PA; six grandchildren, Brittany, Amy, Kale, Kyra, Conner and Felicity and eight great grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Bedford and her husband Gary, of Hornell, NY.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemarie Naydock.

Graveside services will be held privately in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
