Linda F. Jefferson, of East Rockhill Twp., PA, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital – Upper Bucks Campus, Milford Twp., PA. She was 68.
She was the loving wife of Robert L. Jefferson. The couple had celebrated their 29 th Wedding Anniversary on July 17, 2022.
Born in San Antonio, TX, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Betty (McDonald) Leister. She was a 1972 graduate of Souderton High School, Souderton, PA.
Linda was employed as an assembler for the Ford Motor Company, Worcester, PA, for 30 years until retiring there. After her retirement, she worked for Wells Fargo Bank, Coopersburg, PA, for two years.
She was a member of St. Peter's Tohickon United Church of Christ, Weisel, PA, where she had served as President of the Woman's Guild.
Linda volunteered as a cheerleading coach with the Quakertown Midget Football Association, Quakertown, PA, during the 1980's. She loved to travel throughout the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. In her free time, she especially enjoyed making ceramics, working on puzzles and following Facebook.
Surviving with her husband are four children, Jenniffer L. Galluppi and her fiancé Frank T. Skriletz, of Emmaus, PA, Ricky A. Fehr, of Coopersburg, PA, Jason R. Jefferson and his wife Krista, of Collegeville, PA, and Justin Jefferson and his fiancée Rachael Meil, of Willow Grove, PA; five grandchildren, Brandon, Tanner, Dustin, Kylie and Jacob; a brother, William Leister, of Phoenixville, PA; and four sisters, Deborah Leister, of Lansdale, PA, Peggy Seitz, of Sellersville, PA, Lorrie May Moyer and her husband Curry, of Telford, PA, and Ruth Musselman and her husband Mark, of Telford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Leister.
Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Tohickon Union Cemetery, Weisel.
