March 19, 1941 – April 13, 2024
Linda Lee (Shaw) Galinski, of North Wales, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at her home. She was 83.
She was the loving wife of the late Phillip Galinski who passed away in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Frank William "Duke" Snyder who died in 1969.
Born on March 19, 1941, in Hunlock Creek, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis Virgil and Rena (Cragle) Shaw.
Mrs. Galinski was employed as a seamstress for the former Schoeneman Clothing Factory and the former Sun-Lite Shop, both in Souderton, PA, for many years. She also worked as the laundry and housekeeping supervisor for the Gwynedd Square Nursing Home, Lansdale, PA.
She is survived by a daughter, Michele Cornell and her husband Garry, of North Wales, PA; a son, Barry Snyder and his wife Stephanie, of Sellersville, PA; a sister, Avis Hontz, of Shickshinny, PA; and a brother, Lawrence "Ed" Shaw, of Kernsville, PA; six grandchildren, Sabrina Wagner and her husband Rob, of Green Lane, PA, Timothy Snyder, of Lansdowne, PA, Rebecca Schill and her husband Matt, of Richlandtown, PA, Christopher Snyder and his wife Sabrina, of Sellersville, PA, Benjamin Snyder, of Westmont, IL, and Jennifer Snyder, of Westmont, IL; ten great-grandchildren, Liam, Kinleigh and Lincoln Wagner, of Green Lane, PA; Chris, Ben, Sawyer, Rory and Maverick Schill, of Richlandtown, PA; and Olivia and Wyatt Snyder, of Sellersville, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Frank W. Snyder; a grandson, Brendon Snyder; two brothers, William Harry and Vaughn Shaw; and five sisters, Vera Sorber, Betty Mitchell, Lois Kline, Kathryn Cotterman and Nancy Begin.
Services will be announced at the later date.
