Lillian Emily Staiger, formerly of Quakertown, PA, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Community at Rockhill, West Rockhill Twp., PA. She was 88.
She was the loving wife of the late Jack F. Staiger who died in October 2014.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lillian (Pop) Oberkehr. She was a 1955 graduate of Olney High School, Philadelphia.
Mrs. Staiger was employed as an Executive Assistant and Manager for Asplundh, Willow Grove, PA, for 15 years until retiring in 2005.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Telford, PA.
After her retirement, she volunteered at Doylestown Hospital and Heaven’s Bounty Food Cupboard, Quakertown, PA. A talented baker, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and visiting the Jersey Shore with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Lillian Kerns and her husband Jack, of Sarasota, FL, and Carolyn Ennis and her husband Steve, of Upper Black Eddy, PA; two grandchildren, Matthew Brown and his partner Katie and her son Klane, and Ryan Brown and his companion Lauren; and a sister, Helen Mundt, of Chalfont, PA.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jack F. Staiger, Jr., in 2014, and a grandson, Derek Brown, in 2012.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Services to be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Community at Rockhill Multi-Purpose Room, 3250 State Road, Sellersville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heaven’s Bounty Food Cupboard, 455 Trumbauersville Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 or www.quakertowncoborg.wordpress.com/heavens-bounty-food-pantry/
