February 19, 1946 – December 3, 2024
Lesley J. Heckenswiler, of Sellersville, PA, and formerly of Perkasie, PA, and Punta Gorda, FL, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at her home. She was 78.
She was the loving wife of 59 years of the late Barry L. Heckenswiler until his passing on October 25, 2024.
Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Ronald H. and Kathleen M. Latham (Baker) Bryant. She was a 1964 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.
Mrs. Heckenswiler was employed by PSG Industries, Perkasie, for over 10 years until retiring. Previously, she worked for Carson Helicopters, Hilltown, PA, for a number of years.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Hilltown.
A camping enthusiast, Mrs. Heckenswiler was a member of the Airstream RV Club. She, along with her late husband, logged over 100,000 miles traveling with the couple's Airstream throughout the United States and Canada over the years. An avid gardener, she loved flowers as well as knitting and sewing.
She is survived by two sons, Robert S. Heckenswiler and his girlfriend Christine Kelly, of Trumbauersville, PA, and Michael L. Heckenswiler, of Perkasie, PA; three grandchildren, Michael, Nicole and Sean; two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Owen; a brother, Robert J. Bryant and his wife Bobbie, of Sellerville, PA; and a sister, Kathryn J. Bryant, of Dallas, TX.
Her Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 1634 Hilltown Pike, Hilltown, PA . Interment will follow in the Church Memorial Garden. Funeral Luncheon will follow the interment at the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1539, 301 W. Park Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
