Leanne Erin Buchanan, of Hilltown Twp. and formerly of Dublin, PA, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her home.  She was 50.

Born in Sellersville, PA, she was the daughter of Kenneth J. Buchanan, of Hilltown Twp. and the late Martha Jane (Huber) Buchanan.  She was a 1990 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.

Leanne worked as a machine operator for the Fres-Co Systems USA, Inc., Telford, PA for the past 10 years.  Prior to that, she worked as a Chief Operator for Kelchner's Horseradish, Dublin, PA.

She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Dublin, PA.

Leanne was a former member of the Dublin Fire Co.  After obtaining her Firefighter 1, she went on to obtain her EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) and started serving with the Dublin Fire Co. Ambulance, working her way up to and serving as Ambulance Chief.

She enjoyed listening to music and her dogs but most of all, she loved caring for her nieces and nephews.

Surviving with her father is a brother, Jay Buchanan, of Long Beach, Ca; her nieces and nephews, Bradley Buchanan and his wife Moira, Brook Buchanan and his wife Anne, Kyle Buchanan and his wife Carlie, Ryan Buchanan, Sheena Buchanan, Nathan Buchanan and his wife Maxine, Tara Buchanan, Jade Buchanan and Paige Buchanan; her extended family and best friend, Tina Firman and her husband Fred; their children, Vanessa and her husband Zac, Candice and her husband Adam and Douglas and his wife Stephanie as well as their children Mariyah, Kensi, Kolton, Karina, Lilliana and Liam.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Sean and Dane Buchanan.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 3, 2022 in St. Luke's Union Cemetery, 141 S. Main Street, Dublin, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dublin Fire Co., 194 N. Main Street, Dublin, PA  18917 or the Bucks County SPCA, 60 Reservoir Road, Quakertown, PA  18951.
