Nase
June 25, 1945 – April 16, 2024
Larry Dale Nase, a loving husband, devoted father, and proud "Poppy," passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 78, at his home in Sellersville, Pennsylvania.
He was born on June 25, 1945, at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, to the late Leroy and Margaret (Zumstein) Nase.
He was raised alongside his sister, Patricia Richards, now of Lansdale, PA, and his brother, Ralph Nase, and his wife Marilyn, now of Telford, PA. He had a deep sense of loyalty, which was evident in his relationships throughout his life.
Larry married Jane Bruzas on June 17, 1967, and they shared 56 wonderful years together. They were blessed with two daughters, Rebecca L. McNeff and her husband Timothy, of Telford, PA and Cheryl Y. Murray and her husband Chris, of Richlandtown, PA.
Larry adored his grandchildren, Connor and Iain Murray, and Ally McNeff. He cherished spending time with them and creating everlasting memories.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law and dear friend, Edward Richards.
As a young man, he proudly served his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the U. S. Army. He was stationed in Dak To, Vietnam, from 1967 to 1969. Larry's military service was a source of great pride for him, and he held a deep respect for his fellow servicemen and women.
He worked for over 20 years and later retired from Shelly Enterprises. Earlier, he was employed by Kellers Creamery, Harleysville, PA. He was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
Larry was a member of the Sellersville Fire Department, the VFW Forrest Lodge No. 245, Sellersville, the Dak To Defenders, and St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sellersville.
He enjoyed spending time in the mountains, hunting, and watching NASCAR. He had a love for animals, enjoyed playing cards, and valued family gatherings. Larry also found joy in listening to reruns of MASH, Adam 12, and Judge Judy.
Larry was a compassionate and dedicated individual who touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
His Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 104 Green Street, Sellersville, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
