Kathleen M. James, formerly of Bedminster Twp. and Telford, PA, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at The Palmerton by Inspirit Senior Living, Palmerton, PA. She was 81.

            She was the loving wife of 39 years of the late Dale F. James until his passing on August 27, 2022.

            Born in Bedminster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Miriam (Myers) Myers. She was a 1963 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.

            Mrs. James, along with her late husband, owned and operated Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate, Doylestown, PA, for over 25 years until retiring in 2001.

            She attended Calvary Church, Souderton, PA.

            In addition to gardening and cooking, she enjoyed traveling especially to Africa and their home in Hawaii. Most of all, she loved taking care of her husband and grandchildren.

             She is survived by two children, Sandra L. Gahman and her husband Todd, of Jim Thorpe, PA, and Jeffrey Becker and his wife Karen, of West Chester, PA; a stepson, Scott James and his wife Cindy, of Riceville, TN; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Loretta Sklarow and her husband Jeffrey, of Telford, PA.

            In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Arlene M. Supplee, Joan Hofman, and Joyce Rex.

            Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Kellers Church Cemetery, Perkasie, PA.
