June A. Hayes, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge, Sellersville, PA.  She was 86.

She was the loving wife of 56 years of the late Clarence H. "Sonney" Hayes until his passing on November 1, 2020.

Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Hilda (Sheetz) Rosenberger.  She was a 1956 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.

June was employed by TLC Day Care, Perkasie, for 30 years until retiring in 2018.  Previously, she worked for the former Freed's Glass Factory and the former Dudley Sports Co., both in Perkasie.

She was a long-time member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where she sang in the Church Choir and taught Sunday School for many years.  She also delivered flowers to shut-ins as an outreach of the Church.

June was a talented cook and baker, known to treat family and friends to her delicious fasnachts and shoo fly pies.  Her culinary specialties also included fruit salad and pickled cabbage, and she grew her own mint plants to make iced tea.  An avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, she loved to watch and collect butterflies.

She is survived by two children, Brian K. Hayes and his wife Paula, of Wenonah, NJ, and Donna M. Ditsche, of Philadelphia, PA; and a granddaughter, Alexandria "Ali" Hayes.  She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Joseph Ditsche, in 2021, and a brother, Harvey Rosenberger.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 19 South Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  A brief graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, October 25, 2024, in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Perkasie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 19 South Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA  18944.
