Grady, Jr.
December 1, 1948 – June 1, 2022
Joseph J. "Joe" Grady, Jr., of Sellersville, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp., PA. He was 73.
He was the husband of Susan (Musselman) Grady. The couple had celebrated their 52 nd Wedding Anniversary on May 30, 2022.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph J. Sr. and Helen (Molnar) Grady. He was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School., Wyncote, PA.
Joe was employed as a supervisor, working in the tailgates and quarter panels division, for the Budd Company, Philadelphia, PA, for over 30 years until retiring in 2003. Then, he worked part-time in the pro shop at the Fox Hollow Golf Club, Quakertown, PA, until retiring there in 2010.
An avid golfer, he also enjoyed collecting stamps. Joe volunteered as a softball coach for a number of years with the Sellersville Belles Girls Softball Team. Most recently he loved spending time watching his granddaughters play field hockey and softball. He was especially fond of his cat "Speedy", who he adopted after finding him while working at the golf course, and his late dog, "Shelly".
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Jennifer L. Koch and her husband Kevin, of Souderton, PA, and Diane G. Miller, of Sellersville, PA; three granddaughters, Catherine, Meghan and Madison Koch; and a sister, Joanne Lapps and her husband Drew, of Houston, TX.
His Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Little Zion Cemetery, Telford, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bucks County SPCA, 60 Reservoir Road, Quakertown, PA, or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
