Jose' "Jay"  Colon, 53, passed away on January 3, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Bronx, New York, he was a son of Teresa (Quine)  and the late Perfecto Colon.

Jose was employed as a police Officer for the NYPD serving the city of New York for over 20 years. Jose' loved spending time with his family and friends, cooking for them at the many gatherings they held, he was affectionately known as the "grill father" Jose' loved traveling and playing poker, he even participated in the WSOP held in Las Vegas. Jose' was also known to enjoy a good cigar. Jose' was a Member of the Masonic Naval Lodge #4 in Washington DC. He was also a member of the PA East Chapter of the Bearded Villains.'

In addition to his mother Jose' is survived by companion Ellie Wilson, of Quakertown, a son; Jose' Jr. and daughter Jasmine.

A memorial service to celebrate Jose's  life will be held at 11:00AM on January 12, 2024,  in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home 33 N. Main Street, Telford PA 18969. Family will receive friends from 10:00AM until time of service at the Funeral Home  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
