Jon A. Swartz, of Haycock Township, PA, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022, at his home.  He was 81.

He was the loving husband of Mary Ann (Knapp) Swartz.  The couple celebrated their 58 ^th Wedding Anniversary on December 28, 1963.

Born in Quakertown, PA, he was the son of the late Franklin and Ruth (Zweier) Swartz.  He attended Girard College, Philadelphia, PA, before transferring to Quakertown Community High School, Quakertown, where he graduated in 1958.

He served with the Pennsylvania National Guard in Fort Indiantown Gap, PA, during the late 1960's.

Mr. Swartz worked as a Construction Supervisor for the Pennsylvania State Parks for 36 years until retiring in 1997.

He was a member of the Quakertown Kiwanis Club and the Quakertown Lions Club as well as the Keelersville Club, Keelersville, PA.  In addition to hunting and fishing, he loved cooking, raising his dogs, tractors, trucks and Jeeps.

Surviving with his wife are two children, Jennifer A. Ottinger and her husband James, of Fernandina Beach, FL, and Jon A. Swartz, Esq., and his companion Agnes, of Breinigsville, PA; a daughter-in-law, Crystal Swartz, of Quakertown; two grandchildren, Abigail and Gabriella Swartz; and a brother, Roger Swartz, of Quakertown.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey A. Swartz, in 2016, and a sister, Judith Tucker.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Last Chance Ranch, 9 Beck Road, Quakertown, PA  18951.
