John E. "Jack" Daniel, Jr., of Red Hill, PA, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at his home.  He was 57.

He was the loving husband of Erika A. (Falterbauer) Daniel.  The couple had celebrated their 5th Wedding Anniversary on August 5, 2023.

Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late John E. Sr. and Nancy J. (Gerhart) Daniel.  A 1984 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, Horsham, PA, he attained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education from Delaware Valley University, Doylestown, PA, in 1998.

Jack worked as a bartender at the Spinnerstown Hotel, Spinnerstown, PA, for 20 years until retiring in 2018.

He was a member of the Pennsburg United Church of Christ, Pennsburg, PA, where he participated in church services reading the scriptures, enjoyed singing the old hymns and played baseball in the church league.

Jack loved his Pitbull dogs with whom he frequented the local park.  He was a sports enthusiast, participating in Fantasy Baseball and Football Leagues and avidly watching Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies and Boston Red Sox games.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards, board games, and "Super Mario Brothers" video games, as well as reading Stephen King books and going to see fireworks displays. An American History buff, he will be remembered for his staunch patriotism.

Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Brianna Rose Nixon and her husband Rickey, of Red Hill; a grandson, Leonardo Eric Michael Nixon; a sister, Heidi Jane Daniel, of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and his fur babies, Sugar Magnolia "Mags", and Sunshine Daydream "Sunny".  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gretchen Ann Daniel, in 1965, and his fur babies, Papi and Taz.

DUE TO THE IMPENDING SNOW STORM his Memorial Service has been changed to 11:00 AM on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2024 , at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
