John William Croll, of East Rockhill Twp., PA, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at his home. He was 79.
He was the husband of Nancy (Renner) Croll. The couple had celebrated their 59 th Wedding Anniversary on May 26, 2021.
Born in Lansdale, PA, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Frick) Croll. He attained his Heating & Air Conditioning Certificate from the Philadelphia Technical School.
A burner service technician, Mr. Croll was employed most recently by Brinker's Energy, Telford, PA, and earlier by Clyde S. Walton, Inc., Lansdale, Farm & Home Oil, Telford, and Heston S. Swartley, Inc., Sellersville, PA, over the years. Following his retirement, he worked part-time transporting patients for the Community at Rockhill, West Rockhill Twp.
He attended First Baptist Church of Perkasie, Perkasie, PA.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Mr. Croll was a member of the Potter County Gun Club. He particularly enjoyed boating, crabbing and clamming. A four-wheeling and snowmobiling enthusiast, he was also fond of gardening and woodworking.
Surviving with his wife are three children, Brenda Stachelek and her husband James, of Perkiomenville, PA, Kimberly Croll and her wife Kathleen, of Brick, NJ, and Stephanie Cucinotta and her husband Daniel, of Perkasie; four grandchildren, Melissa Criswell and her husband Matthew, Scott Martin, Jr., Julianna Cucinotta, and Jackson Croll; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Croll and his wife Dona, of Meadville, PA, and Stanley Croll and his wife Sharon, of Telford, PA; and a sister, Betty Sue Croll and her wife, Sharon, of Sellersville, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and James Croll.
His Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Perkasie, 1600 North Fifth Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Perkasie, 1600 N. Fifth St., Perkasie, PA 18944, or to the Faith Christian Academy, 2255 Allentown Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.
Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
