Joan R. Cressman, 99, formerly of Souderton, PA, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at Maple Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro, NC 27407. She was the loving wife of the late Edwin C. Cressman, who preceded her in death in 2017.

             Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late John Howard Rhoads, Jr. and Irene T. (Thomson) Rhoads. Besides her parents and her husband. She was preceded in death by her brother John David Rhoads of Quakertown and her grandson Christopher.

            Joan was a billing clerk for Jostens for over 12 years. She was also a cashier at Landis Supermarkets for 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting and doing cross stitch.

            She is survived by her children Colin Cressman of Decatur, GA, Kenneth Cressman and his wife Susie of Greensboro, NC, Peter Cressman and his wife Janet of The Villages, FL and Eric Cressman of High Point, NC. Joan is also survived by her grandchildren; Sara, Devin, Casey, Kelly and James.

            Funeral services with a viewing will be held at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, 1133 W. Orvilla Road, Hatfield, PA 19440 on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

            Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Avenue, Newtown, PA 18940.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holy Spirit Anglican Church, 1133 W. Orvilla Road, Hatfield, PA  19440.
