"Jerry" Mccaffrey, Jr.

Jerome J. "Jerry" McCaffrey, Jr., of Perkasie, PA, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at his home. He was 71.
He was the loving husband of Linda C. (Nascenzi) McCaffrey. The couple had celebrated their 19th Wedding Anniversary on October 18, 2022.
Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Jerome J. Sr. and Laureen (McGoldrick) McCaffrey. A graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, Drexel Hill, PA, he attained his Associate's Degree from Delaware County Community College, Media, PA.
Jerry was employed as a plumber and HVAC technician for Carney Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Line Lexington, PA, for over 45 years until retiring in 2018.
He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA, where he volunteered with plumbing and building issues.
Jerry served as the Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop No. 1, Sellersville, for 22 years. He was a model train enthusiast, building his own layout at his home. He loved visiting the shore, especially Stone Harbor and Avalon, NJ, since he was three-months-old and enjoyed surfing in his younger years.
Surviving with his wife are two children, Jaime McCaffrey and her husband Brian Woodcock, of Skippack, PA, and Jerome J. McCaffrey III and his wife Cindy, of Telford, PA; two children by marriage, John N. Vannoy and his partner Jenifer Crooks, of Quakertown, PA, and Sean N. Vannoy and his wife Kelsey, of Narvon, PA; three grandchildren, Nolan, Ophelia and Mabel; and a brother, Christopher McCaffrey and his wife Mary, of Havertown, PA.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. At the family's request, please wear colorful attire as Jerry never liked the color black.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop No. 1 Sellersville, c/o St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
