Jean A. Uehling, 97, of Telford, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 14, 2024, in the Lutheran Community at Telford.

She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Carl. T. Uehling.

Born in Sunbury, PA, she was a daughter of the late Rev. John Blair and Mary Mae (Graybill)  Kniseley.

Jean was employed as a schoolteacher for the Philadelphia School District where she taught for over 20 years having taught at Fulton, Jenks, and Hartranft Elementary Schools. Jean was a devoted wife and loving mother, she faithfully served alongside her husband at the various congregations where they were called to minister. In her free time, she enjoyed playing solitaire, singing in the church choir, being an easy ear for those around her as well as mentoring many others. Jean was also known for her easy-going manner and her sense of humor.

Jean is survived by sons, 1,2,3,& 4, Carl Uehling and his wife Sandi, of Warwick, Mark Uehling and his wife Janice, of Lansdale, John Blair Uehling and his wife Sherri, of Mifflinburg and Earl Uehling and his wife Allison, of Oreland; nine grandchildren,  Alexandra, John, Paige, Ashley, Timothy, Katie, Jennifer, Abigail and Caroline and thirteen great grandchildren, Dalton, Vera, Harrison, Lily, Gabby, Pierce, Theodore, Logan, Blair, Claire, Quinn, Conner and Brooke. She was preceded in death by a son, Carl Timothy Uehling.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11 AM in the Luther Rose Chapel of the Lutheran Community at Telford, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA 18969. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM, prior to the service. Interment will follow in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Telford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Lutheran Community at Telford at the above address or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 107 W. Lincoln Ave., Telford, PA 18969.
