Janice Owens, 88, of Perkasie PA passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
Janice was the beloved wife of David L. Owens who passed away in 1974.
A daughter of Harold and Alma (Merkel) Erdman, Janice was born in Quakertown. She graduated from Quakertown Community High School and later became an Order Clerk at the former Harriet Carter Gifts.
Janice's true passion was stopping by yard sales. She enjoyed finding furniture for projects that her family could redo. She also loved driving around to pick up an ice-cold slurpee. Janice participated in a bowling league and during her quiet time she read Wanda Brunstetter novels. Most importantly, Janice was blessed to spend time with her family and attend the events they participated in.
Janice is survived by her children Debbie Dimmick (Ben) of Trumbauersville, David L. Owens, Jr. of Allentown, Dale L. Owens (Tammy) of Telford, Dana L. Muldowney (Patrick) of Perkasie, and Danielle Bonacquisti (David) of Perkasie. Janice is survived by ten grandchildren, Kristy, Kari, Ryan, Jared, Nicole, Bobby, Jesse, Gannon, Delaney and Quinn. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Brooke, Benny, Jackson, Sadie, Carter, Tallulah and Vivianna; and brother, Leon Erdman (Carolyn Lichtfuss) of Telford. In addition to her husband, Janice is preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Heck, and brothers Charles and Kenneth Erdman.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, May 22 nd , 2023, at Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Telford, PA 18969. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10-11AM. Interment will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Janice's name to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704.
