Janice Mortimer, 91, of Souderton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at her residence, Souderton, PA.

Born in Salem, NJ, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Mary (Banwell) Berry. She was the loving wife of John William Mortimer, until his passing in 1997.

Janice had many passions throughout her life. She enjoyed crocheting and had practiced the craft since she was fifteen years old. In her youth, she also played high school basketball. Janice loved taking short, spontaneous trips with her family and was deeply devoted to her faith, especially spending time reading her Bible.

Janice is survived by her children: Mary Lou Denesowicz of Harleysville, Stephen L. Mortimer and his wife Joan of Somerdale, NJ, and John W. Mortimer, Jr. and his wife Victoria of Oakland CA; five grandchildren: Stephen Jr., Charis, Christopher Jaime and Kathleen. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased in death by her son Robert W. Mortimer, granddaughter Bethany, and her twin brother Edward Berry.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in the Sadler- Suess Funeral Home & Crematory, 33 N. Main St. Telford, PA. 18969. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until the time of service.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
