Janet A. Bolig, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp., PA.  She was 86.

She was the wife of Paul O. Bolig.  The couple had celebrated their 65 ^th Wedding Anniversary on October 20, 2021.

Born in Sellersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Alice (Musselman) Royer.  She was a 1955 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.

During the 1970's, Mrs. Bolig was employed as a School Bus Driver for the Pennridge School District, Perkasie, driving Bus Numbers 1 and 3.  She also worked as a Driver Training Aide for the school district until retiring in 1980.  Following her retirement, she worked for a number of years during the 1990's in the Deli Department at Landis Supermarket, Perkasie.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perkasie.  She enjoyed collecting cow figurines, travelling to Lancaster, and attending gospel concerts.

Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Tammie L. Failmezger, of Winchester, VA; two grandchildren, John Failmezger, of Norfolk, VA, and Heidi Failmezger, of Ashville, NC; and a brother, Kenneth Royer and his wife Arlene, of Telford, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Leigh Ann, in 1995, and her brother, Raymond Royer.

Her Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 5, 2022, at the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until Noon.
