Jane R. Kerschner, formerly of Sellersville, PA, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Gwynedd Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Lansdale, PA.  She was 88.

She was the loving wife of 53 years of the late Ivan R. Kerschner until his passing on January 29, 2009.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Verna (Miller) Carey.  She was a 1954 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Schuylkill Haven.

Mrs. Kerschner was employed by Teva Pharmaceuticals, Sellersville, PA, for 20 years until retiring.

She was a member of St. Andrew's United Church of Christ, Perkasie, PA.

Mrs. Kerschner was an active and long-time member of the Nase-Kraft American Legion Post No. 255 Ladies Auxiliary, Sellersville, having served as its President, Vice President, Treasurer and Historian over the course of many years.  She was also a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Forrest Lodge Post No. 245 Ladies Auxiliary, Sellersville.

A former Girl Scout Leader, she enjoyed music, tending to her flower gardens and animals especially cats and dogs.  Most of all, she will be remembered for her special love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Cynthia L. Leidy and her husband Ronald, of Perkasie, PA, Doreen L. Fox and her husband Brian, of North Wales, PA, and Russell A. Kerschner and his wife Monica, of Telford, PA; four grandchildren, Shawn Leidy and his wife Lindsey, Johnn Fox, Kimberly Kerschner and her partner Gabe Coffelt, and Jennifer Perea and her husband Justin; three step-grandchildren, Brittney, Spencer and Myles; five great-grandchildren, Evan, Madison, Hannah, Lilly and Mia; and two step-great-grandchildren, Lorenzo and Olivia.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Norma Jean Kerschner.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven, PA.
