James E. "Jim" Flite, 81, of Sellersville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Judy (Smith) Flite for 60 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he is a son of the late Edward and Dorothy (McGrann) Flite.

Jim graduated from Father Judge High School and served his country in the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of Corporal.

After retiring from the Marines, Jim worked in construction for Buckley & Company in Philadelphia for many years before retiring in 1995.

In his free time Jim enjoyed anything related to his beloved Corps as well as fervent political discussions with anyone who would listen. Jim was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and would rarely miss a televised game.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by a son, Christopher of Lansdale, and was preceded in death by a son James Jr and brother David Coughlin.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main St., Sellersville, PA, where family and friends my call from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA, 18914.
