Obituary

Jacquelyn "Jackie" Kay Gebhard, of Coopersburg, PA, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, at St. Luke's Upper Bucks Hospital, Quakertown, PA.  She was 74.

She was the loving wife of 37 years of the late Theodore T. "Ted" Gebhard, Jr., until his passing on December 11, 2004.

Born in Sellersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond B. and Kathryn M. (Royer) Ketterer.

Jackie was employed first as a seamstress and then in customer service for Merrill Y. Landis, LTD, Telford, PA, for 35 years until retiring in 2022.

She was a member of St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, PA, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the Church Choir for many years.

A long-time volunteer with the Perkasie Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Jackie enjoyed camping, sewing, tending to her houseplants and collecting lighthouses.  Her greatest joy was in spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, Melissa Maxwell and her husband Thomas, of Coopersburg, Jeffrey Gebhard and his wife Heather, of Hatfield, PA, Katrina Gebhard, of Coopersburg, PA, and Joshua Gebhard and his significant other, Cathy, of Sellersville, PA; seven grandchildren, Sean Maxwell and his wife Annmarie, of Boyertown, PA, Anastasia Lattanze and her husband Ryan, of Clifton Heights, PA, Patrick Maxwell and his wife Megan, of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Madeline Gebhard and her companion Austin Bishop, of Ottsville, PA, Dawson Stapleton, of Silverdale, PA, and Jenna and Avery Phillips, both of Hatfield, PA; two great-grandchildren, Nico Bishop and James Lattanze; two brothers, Dennis Ketterer, of Perkasie, PA, and Barry Ketterer and his wife Deanna, of Sellersville, PA; a sister, Robin Wojcik and her husband Frank, of Riegelsville, PA; a sister-in-law, Patricia Ledford, of Pottstown, PA; a brother-in-law, Michael Overholt, of Perkasie, PA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Ketterer, and a sister, Linda Overholt.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 9, 2024, at St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
