Jacqueline R. Palmer, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Quakertown Center – Genesis Health Care, Quakertown, PA.  She was 91.

Born in Atlantic City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William Raymond and Margret Susan (Ruppert) Hickman, Jr.

Ms. Palmer first employment was as Production or Quality Control Supervisor in the manufacturing industry, working on aircraft and space components as well as miniature electronics and also as contract security officer and liaison with government contractors.  Then, she worked as a fully-licensed account representative for Met Life in Lansdale and Quakertown, PA, from 1983 to 1994.  After her time with Met Life, she was employed by the former K-Mart, Quakertown, PA, until its closing in 2010.  And, most recently, she worked for three years in quality control for Geitz Machine, Inc., Telford, PA, until earlier this year.

Ms. Palmer also taught ceramics at her ceramics studio in Pennsburg, PA, for many years.  In her early years, she showed Schnauzer breed dogs. A bowling enthusiast, she especially enjoyed traveling across the United States in a motor home. An avid reader, she loved reading with her Kindle.

She is survived by her close friend, Dolores M. Kramer, who she lived with for 40+ years in Perkasie, PA.
