Helene T. Miller, formerly of Quakertown, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown, PA. She was 93.
She was the wife of the late Alfred Nickerson, who passed in 1973 and Marvin Miller, who passed in 1998.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Glaser) Eichhorn.
Mrs. Miller worked as a portrait painter and color artist for several area photographers over the years. She worked at the Pennridge High School, Upper Building cafeteria during the late 1970 and early 1980s. During the 1970's, she cleaned St. Agnes Catholic School, Sellersville. In her earlier years she worked for the Royal, AG and Beidler's Pants factories.
She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA.
In addition to her painting, she enjoyed gardening, traveling, especially to Hawaii and bus trips to Nashville, TN. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by five children, Virginia L. Bossert, of Quakertown, PA, Marilyn Foulke and her husband Raymond, of Center Valley, PA, Karen Smalley and her husband Richard, of Trumbauersville, PA, Joanne Proffitt, of Staunton, VA and Daniel Nickerson and his Fiancée Holly Taylor, of Gilbertsville, PA; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Biebel, of Wilkes-Barre and three brothers, Maurice Eichhorn and his wife Betty, of North Syracuse, NY, Bernard Eichhorn, of Dallas, PA and Jerome Eichhorn, of Shavertown, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and Carl Eichhorn.
Her funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 2, 2026 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be in St. Stephen's UCC Cemetery, Perkasie, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Perkasie, PA.
