Helen was born in Abington, PA on November 6, 1924 to the late Thomas F. and Helen J. (Moffitt) Durkin. She graduated from Abington High School in 1942. After starting her secretarial career at Standard Pressed Steel, she married Paul J. (Pud) Keating on November 6, 1948. Helen also answered to Breezy, a high school nickname, and Tootsie, a family nickname affectionately started by her oldest grandson more than forty years ago. In the day, Tootsie could be found playing golf, bowling, playing bridge, or traveling with Pud. She loved music and dancing and having a good time.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Souderton Mennonite Home Summit View Auditorium at 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, PA. A visiting hour will be from 11:30 to 12:30 P.M. with a service directly following.
