Harlan "Red" Loux, 90, of Souderton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29 2025 at his home.  He was the loving husband of Marilyn (Willouer) Loux, they were happily married for nearly 70 years.

Born in Souderton, he was the oldest son of the late Jacob and Edna (Landis) Loux. Harlan was known as "Red" for his striking head of red hair.

He was employed as a delivery driver for Rosenberger's Dairies.  He went on to work in sales for the Farm & Home Oil Company.  He then worked in marketing at Royal Petroleum until his retirement last year.

Harlan was a graduate of Souderton High School and enjoyed playing on the school baseball team.  He was a member of Calvary Church of Souderton and played many years on their men's softball team.

Besides playing ball, Harlan enjoyed bowling and golf.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed watching the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Sixers games.

Many weekends were spent camping with the family.  Any time spent with the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was very special to Harlan.  In his later years, sitting on the porch watching the birds at the feeder was a peaceful time for him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters:  Jane Pannepacker and her husband Dave of Schwenksville, Denise Edwards, and her husband Mike of Telford, and Patti Geiss and her husband Pete of Oley.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and brother, Ron Loux of Souderton.

Family will receive friends for a celebration of "Red's" life on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM in the Clubhouse at the Lion's Gate Community, 335 Lion's Gate Drive, Souderton, PA 18964.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to The  American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
