Gloria G.
Warner
Apr 28, 1925 — Feb 9, 2021
Sellersville
Gloria G. Warner, of West Rockhill Twp., passed from this life into the arms of her Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in The Community at Rockhill, West Rockhill Twp., at the age of 95. She was the beloved wife of 40 years to the late Ireson B. "Jim" Warner who died in 1988.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Violetta (Bullen) Briegel.
Gloria was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sellersville, PA. She served as a Sunday School teacher, was involved in the shut-in ministry, was a greeter at church services, and always brought joy and wit to each ministry. She loved her Lord and humbly served Him.
Gloria had such a sense of adventure and joy for life. She was a world traveler experiencing white water rafting and zip lining in her later years. At age 80 she was a bridesmaid in her friend's wedding, and took on many enjoyable challenges in her life. She loved her cat "Honey" which was a great comfort to her.
Our mom was a true example of being a "Giver". Her example of this God-given gift was displayed daily through her love of people and seeing the good in mankind. She has helped those who have been downtrodden in life with notes/cards of encouragement. Her dedication and outward display of sacrificial giving and care has filtered down to her children….and we are truly blessed!
She was employed as an office assistant for the former PA State Representative Paul Clymer for 15 years. In her earlier years, she worked as a clerk in the Service Repairs Department for the former Bell Telephone.
She is survived by family she loved: her daughter, Susan M. Hausmann and her husband Kurtis of Macungie, PA, her son, Glenn R. Warner and his wife Robin of Perkasie, PA, 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and her many nieces/nephews and great Christian friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Everett, and her infant daughter, Marilyn Warner.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church, 754 East Rockhill Rd., Sellersville, PA 18960. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service. Face masks and spacial distancing will be required. Interment will be held privately.
