Gloria M. Freed, 89, formerly of Telford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Gwynedd Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest G. Freed who passed away in 2005.

Born in Earlington, Pennsylvania, Gloria was a daughter of the late Preston K. and Lillian (Bissey) Moyer.

Gloria graduated from Souderton Area High School and worked several jobs throughout her life, including insurance, although her most recent and favorite job was in the mail room at the former Harleysville National Bank.

An Avon representative for more than fifty years, Gloria was extremely dedicated to the merchandise she sold.  She was also an avid Bingo and card player and enjoyed bowling, dancing, taking trips to the beach, and going to dinner.  Mostly she loved being around family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by two daughters: Sandra Zagorski of Norristown, Pennsylvania and Sherri Shields and her husband William of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, and a son: Scott Freed and his wife Tracy of Barto, Pennsylvania.  She is also survived by siblings, Erma Slemmer, Nevin Moyer, Eileen Clymer, and Clyde "Butch" Moyer.  At the end of the day, the ones who brought most comfort and joy to Gloria's life were her five grandchildren, Matthew, Amber, Connor, Colin, and Justin, and her five great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Henry, Dax, Milo, and Gloria.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Christ Reformed at Indian Creek Church, 171 Church Road, Telford, Pennsylvania.  A viewing is scheduled from 10-11AM, prior to the service.  After the service, interment will immediately follow at Christ Reformed Cemetery at Indian Creek, directly across from the church.
